Emergency Road Closure - Plough Wents Road, Chart Sutton - 16th March 2026 (Maidstone)

It will be necessary to close Plough Wents Road, Chart Sutton will be closed to through traffic, on 16th March 2026 for up to 3 days.

The whole length of the road will be closed, but access will be maintained for residents when it is safe to do so.

The alternative route is via B2163 Plough Wents Road, A274 Sutton Road, A229 Loose Road, A229 Linton Road, B2163 Heath Road, and vice versa.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 09:00 hrs and 16:30 hrs each day.

This is to enable essential overhead line/pole replacement works to be carried out by UK Power Networks.
